It’s boiling hot here in Tokyo right now, with a humidity that will keep you dripping wet every moment you stay outdoors.
This didn’t stop a huge number of revelers at my local shrine from spending three days carrying palanquins up and down the streets, dancing and drumming until late in the night.
I was exhausted from a recent trip to Fukushima where I’m working on my next long form documentary, so although I saw bits and pieces happening in the streets during the daytime I only managed to crawl out of my apartment as the evening was finally cooling down on the last night of the festival, where I shot a little bit on the RED for fun.
Have a look!
